Event Schedule


Interdisciplinary teams of students and alumni of all KICs (Climate KIC, KIC InnoEnergy, EIT Digital) as well as externals will work on ideas that have the potential to accelerate sustainable development in Europe and the world. Supported by mentors, the teams develop the first business models, get in touch with potential customers and run through the first iteration phases. On Sunday afternoon the teams pitch their ideas in front of a local jury. The Startup Days encourage the teams to continue to pursue their projects afterwards and get support by the different business creation opportunities inside EIT .

Review agenda for the weekend and introduce speakers, coaches, and community leaders

7:15pm Pitching and Team Building

Optionally lineup to pitch your idea. Join a team and start discussing ideas.

9:00pm Begin Work

Start shaping your idea and business model.


8:00 am Breakfast & Early working session

Meet with your team and start working with some breakfast & coffee.

12:00 pm Lunch

1:00 pm Working session

After-lunch status reports, call for help between teams, keep up the good work.

3:00 pm Coaching

Coaches help teams one-on-one. They are here to help!

6:00 pm Dinner & Late working session

Recharge your energy with a nice dinner and refine your business model.

10:00 pm Chill-out & Party

Finished for the day. You may stay and work as late as the venue will allow or relax and chill out.



8:00 am Breakfast & Early working session

Wrap-up the final details of your idea and business model with some coffee and light breakfast.

10:00 am Coaching

Coaches arrive. Final opportunity to ask questions.

12:00 pm Lunch

1:00 pm Pitch preparation

Work on your pitch and prepare for the final presentations. Ask the coaches for feedback. Rehearse!

4:30 pm Idea Presentations

All teams pitch their ideas to the jury and the general audience

6:00 pm Dinner

Good job! Now relax while the jury chooses the winners.

      Will it also be possible to work on the technical aspects, and start building a prototype of the idea? Or will it mostly be brainstorming and marketing plan?
